We are all made of the same matter: the remnants of ancient stars dispersed throughout space and time. Every thread we touch and every atom in our bodies contains the memories of something greater. At STERGOED, we uphold that heritage via renewal rather than excess.
We give life to garments and textiles that have already had a past, fragments of stories and traces of time; rooted in the belief that beauty need not be born new. We reimagine the forgotten into the timeless through thoughtful reconstruction and creative design. For our handmade pieces, we use fabrics that came before us but remain - enduring, radiant, and alive once more. Thrifting old materials and reshaping them in an eternal fashion.
Our materials serve as witnesses and are not waste. Reworking what already exists allows us to deal with the unvarnished poetry of what is left, resisting the culture of disposability. Wearing STERGOED means wearing continuity, a link between the past and the present, between intimacy and industry, between function and emotion. It is to understand that sustainability is a return to origin rather than a trend.
We are made of star-stuff. So are our clothes. Carefully crafted, mindfully conceived, and purposefully reborn.
Based in France and founded in 2024 by painter and designer Souria Tisghiti, STERGOED introduces a renewed vision where practicality, design, ethereality and minimalism blend seamlessly. Forged with a signature aesthetic and logo, the brand presents a refined yet relaxed fusion of her passions, artistic vision and cultural roots.
Ready-to-wear custom pieces are thoughtfully sourced and crafted in France, hand-painted or hand-made locally. All of our apparel items are designed in Paris and made-to-order locally in the south of France, using organic fabrics and printed with eco-friendly dye.
